Havaianas is a website for the flip flop sandal lovers because it displays several different kinds of flip flop sandals for people of all ages. It has a Hawaiian theme because it's layout is very colorful and graphics float on screen to give an underwater effect. Page layouts change from page to page providing interest and keeping users' attentions. Page layouts keep the same color scheme throughout the site. Havaianas is also an interactive site because users can drag the flip flop sandal to surf the site. It also provides users' with directions upon entering the site on how to drag the sandal to surf. Havaianas is versatile because it has an elastic layout and users can scroll horizontally or vertically in order to view it.

"My Life" is a song by Mary J. Blige that inspires me because it speaks truth from the first verse to the last. Take the first line for example; "life can be only what you make it," this is true because you live your own life and you make the best of it. I like how this song is written and how it does not contain profanity. I enjoy truly written music that means something and not music that does not make sense and is just put together to rhyme. Mary J. Blige got her inspiration for this song from a musician name Roy Ayers. His song is titled "Everybody Loves the Sunshine" and the music is somewhat similar to Blige's "My Life."

This page from FASHION MAGAZINE uses a two column grid style. Pictures and words are in separate boxes for readability. This page inspires me because it is colorful and everything is organized so that I have no trouble reading things. I like that it is not a plain, naked, page and it seems like the content-out approach was used in creating this page because pictures and words have their own boxes and this could not have been done if the stylesheet was created first.

This page from FASHION MAGAZINE uses a two column grid style and in it David Ellis, an artist, creates a painting in five stages. The first column contains text about each stage and second column contains pictures of the painting in each stage. I like how he breaks the progression down into stages so that readers understand the process of creating the painting. The use of different colors inspires me because it makes the painting stand out and gives it an abstract look.

In this photograph I capture a seafood candlelight dinner with my Kodak EasyShare camera. The scenic appearance of the photograph inspires me because it makes all the features visible and it brings out the ambience of the photo. Colors and textures in the food, flowers, and table are visible for the viewer because of the extra lighting added by the scenic option from the camera.

This photograph captures an oil painting of two wonderful people joined together in holy matrimony. What inspires me about this painting is its ancient texture. Notice the background color has a sort of ancient shadow. Also, the color has faded a little in the wedding gown and veil to give it an antique look. This painting is by an Italian artist name A. Tosiy and it was painted overseas in Naples, Italy.Tosiy painted this from looking at the original photograph which was taken with a 126 camera. He paints every characteristic of the photograph except one. The photograph contains a mole under her nose that this painting does not depict.
