Audience

Hillman Curtis states, “Before anything else, we have to know who our audience is and what they want” (Curtis 76). The target audience of the Daisy Marc Jacobs site are sophisticated young women that are consumers of fashion and beauty products. The site provides users all of the ideas and concepts behind the entire fragrance collection. Visitors can find exactly what products the collection offers and can purchase these products from the site. The sites audience is computer savvy as well. The site is very user interactive. For example, members can play games and chat with other members of the site.

Hillman Curtis states, “I consider different factors of the people I am targeting…” (Curtis 76). The Daisy Marc Jacobs site does this by making the audience feel important and special by rewarding members with special prizes and discounts. The site makes the audience of this site wants to feel apart of a special group. Every daisy displayed in the virtual “field” of daisies, belongs to a particular member of the site.
