This is a home page for my work in CMS 3710, a course offered at Clayton State University in Spring 2009.

Web Site Analysis

Glamour.com is a site that appears to target its magazine readers, who are women in their early to mid-twenties with an interest in fashion, beauty and health. The site uses soft, feminine color schemes, such as pale pinks, to appeal to the site visitors. Visitors may access information through a set of navigational links at the beginning of the home page. The sites content is subdivided into individual web pages. Information is organized by its related topic, such as, health, fitness or beauty. These chunks are set up by hierarchy to the magazine. Increasing subscriptions is the primary goal of this site; therefore, the subscription link is visibly placed on every individual web page. Overall, the organization and functionality of Glamour.com is well designed for the readers of its site.
