Stephanie Cooper's 3710 Home Page
This is the home page for my work in CMS 3710, a class offered during the fall 2008 semester at Clayton State University, in Morrow, Georgia, USA.
Web Site Analysis
Allure.com is a site that appears to target mostly its magazine readers, which happen to be women in their early to mid-twenties with an interest in health and beauty. The site uses feminine color schemes, such as bold reds and pinks to appeal to the site visitors. The site’s content is subdivided into individual web pages accessed by navigational links making it easier for users to access additional information. The chunks are set up by hierarchy of importance to the magazine. Increasing subscriptions is the primary goal of this site therefore the subscription link is visibly placed on every page. The site uses few hyper links, except for advertisement windows, minimizing visitor deterrence. Overall, the functionality and organization of Allure.com is great.
