Analysis of How do I say this.com
According to How do I say this.com, it is an online video advice column. Its nine different links in the left-most column makes the site very navigational. It focuses on the things in life that people find impossible to say. They post your submissions (video, images, text) and use them to help create a final episode answering a current problem. You may even see your work featured on their mtvU television segments. It is also more like a venting/ I need advice site. The site has a very clear view on what they want and need from their audience. The colors, design theme, typography, and the graphics really reach the demographic audience. The audience is set to male and female, all races, and the ages range from 17 to 29.

How do I say this.com spoke to me in various ways. The title in itself caught my attention. I sometimes find myself asking that same question, "How do I say this?" The graphics are nice and the colors are bright. The contrast is beautiful. I also like the design structure and theme. The alignment, line length, fonts, and the type-faces match perfectly with the sites' structure. The font and the alignments are very neat and legible. There were a few things I would have done differently, for instance I would have expounded on the "We need you" paragraph to make the audience feel more important so that they can visit more often and most importantly spread the word about the site. I also would have had a different picture for the home page or the following linked pages. It seemed a little boring to see the same picture throughout the entire website. Overall it is a nice site and has some great characteristics about it.
