Website Analysis

Email is my life. Well not entirely, but it is an important part of my daily routine, since I frequently email family and friends. Fortunately I found Gmail.com. Gmail uses cool blue colors which symbolizes the sites simplicity. Gmail allows users to change the color theme, but cool colors are the only option. Another interesting feature is how Gmail chunks advertisements to one side of the page. The advertisements are in text form instead of images, which makes browsing easy and fast. The sites organization is comprehensible. Users can easily find links to their inbox, archived mail and deleted messages. I don't have evidence of Gmail's theme, but I would assume it was simplicity. Gmail appeals to the advance and beginner user.
