This is the home page for my work in CMS 3710, a class offered during the fall 2008 semester at Clayton State University, in Morrow, Georgia, USA.

Web Site AnalysisAol.com homepage

Aol.com is an informative site that caters to a large audience, both young and old, who like to be knowledgeable on the latest news in various categories. The site delivers the most recent news in topics such as politics, sports, entertainment and health. It allows you to access e-mail from three servers, through readily accessible links. It allows users to post comments in various forums that are available for nearly every category or featured story. The site maintains a consistent page grid which allows for easy navigation on the site. There is a "search box" that is visible at the top of the screen, which allows users to search the world-wide web, if necessary. The main screen features a "scrolling headlines" box that slideshows the latest headlines in various categories-each display includes one photograph and 2-4 submenus to "subsites" for that particular category. I use this news site to check my e-mail accounts, to obtain the latest information on topics that are relevant to me and my life and to become knowledgeable on topics that interest me.
