Site Design of Boostup.org
What the author tries to communicate determines the site design. The site is very organized. The linear format allows users to access several pages within the navigational links of Boostup.org. The website chunks information which appeals to users' short term memory. The pages are very organized. Although most of the pages open up to new pages, they do not link to any other page. These kinds of pages are considered dead links. Unlike most web pages that are design in a linear format, Boostup.org is uses a web like structure.
Each page is consistent with the others. According to Web Style Guide, associative organizational schemes are harder to understand unless it is for a small site (Basic information Structures). Boostup.org is a clear example of this. Web like structure are usually reserve for small sites. The cascading style sheets allow each page to be consistent. Well organized pages allow for easier reading (WSG, Cascading style sheets).
