Target Audience of Boostup.org
In Making the Invisible Visible, Curtis states that the user must consider his audience when creating a web page. The user must zero in on the physical details such as their age, education, interests, environment and the type of computer they may use (76). As I viewed this website, I took into consideration how the designers focused on these particular factors about the audience. Their graphics does not take more than 30 seconds to load. The designers focused on audiences comprised mostly of adolescents and teens and perhaps some parents as well may access Boostup.org from home. The site offers a page for parents to post encouraging messages for troubled adolescents and teens. It is dedicated in helping teens and parents to finding solutions for their issues.
