Fallon Guess's CMS 3710 Home Page
This is the home page for my work in CMS 3710, a class offered during the fall 2008 semester at Clayton State University, in Morrow GA, USA.
Web Site Analysis
My most frequented website is Myspace.com, a place where all of the members share one mutual friend the website creator, Tom. Myspace.com's theme is a networking site. I mainly use it to stay connected with my friends from Michigan. When it comes to things like eye candy the Myspace.com homepage has added a huge flash banner over the past year, which usually is advertising a movie or fast food restaurant. The information on the Myspace.com homepage is chunked in an organized fashion. The navigational bar is organized in a logical sequence, and is self explanatory. Home is the first link on the navigational bar, which is alphabetically behind the second link browse, but all the other links follow the linear alphabetical sequence. Myspace.com uses the color blue in its site design. Blue symbolizes youth and distance, which is perfect for Myspace.com. The fact is that most of its users are young adults who use Myspace.com for networking sometimes at a distance.
