Katharine Green in Curtis' Making the Invisible Visible discusses the styles of type that can be used on a Web site. There are so many possibilities, but Green explains that if the designer is not experiences at using type, he/she should keep the style simple (Curtis 153). David Josué does not use fancy fonts on his page; he uses a plain, san serif font. Still, the font face used is not the usual Arial or Verdana that users normally see; thus, it makes his page a bit interesting. As discussed on my Color page, the text is gray, which makes it hard to read. Of course, the average user for this site will not be reading anyway as he/she is looking at the photographs. Nonetheless, the text completes its purpose as a guide through the site.
