I am graduating from Clayton State University in December 2008 with a major in Communications/ Media Studies and a Minor in English. I am interning at Scoop magazine and volunteering as Assistant Editor for The Bent Tree News. I want to write for an interesting magazine or newspaper in Atlanta.
I enjoy creative writing, in which I show my world to my readers. I use many facts and images so that my readers feel like they are in the middle of the action. My creative non fiction pieces deal with two of my traveling experiences. This is the type of writing in which I am most interested. Every time I come back from traveling, I tell everyone who will listen about my experiences. Recently, I decided I should start writing these stories down so that I can share them with more people. Thus my dream of becoming a travel writer was born.
