Frances Adame's 3710 home page

This is the home page for my work in CMS 3710, a class offered during the fall 2008 semester at Clayton State University, in Morrow, Georgia, USA.

Web Site AnalysisScreenshot MYYahoo home page

My most frequently used website is MyYahoo! because it loads quickly and meets my specific needs. At the top of my page, there are three tabs, including my most used page "My World," which includes several modules that drop down and are modified to my preferences. In the left column, I find my Personal Assistant, which includes links to my Yahoo! mail account, music, news, weather, travel, and horoscope; a module for my local weather; and my calendar. The right column of my site has drop downs for News, Comics, TV Listings, and Movie Showtimes. When I scroll over any of the links, I get a preview of the item for that day; then if I click the link, I am taken to a different page within Yahoo!. The site is easy to navigate and easy to read showing small chunks of information all in one place; there is even a search bar in the top right corner for quick access to web browsing. There are no ads or flashy pictures to distract the user from gathering information; thus, MyYahoo! is a simple website that I use every day to find out what is happening in my world.
